Privacy policy

The short version
- No accounts, no sign-up, no newsletter.
- We set no cookies and run no analytics or advertising trackers.
- When you click "See on eBay", you leave our site. eBay and its affiliate program may then set their own cookies, under eBay's privacy notice, so that a purchase can be credited to us.
What happens when you ask for prices
Your browser asks our server for current eBay listings for that type of object. Our server asks eBay and sends back prices, titles and photo links. Our server sends eBay only the search words and our own partner identifier, nothing about you. We keep the answer in a short cache (about 30 minutes) so that we ask eBay less often.
The listing photos load directly from eBay's image servers (i.ebayimg.com). Like any image on the web, that request gives eBay's servers your connection address and browser type. If you never press the button, no photo is loaded.
Search on this site
The search box works inside your browser with a list of our own pages. What you type is never sent to us or to anyone.
What our hosting provider records
Like every website, our hosting provider (Bluehost, located in the United States) automatically keeps technical server logs: connection address, date and time, page requested, browser and device type, referring page. They are used to deliver the site, keep it secure and fix errors. We do not combine them with anything else, use them to identify you, or sell or share them. They are kept for a limited period under the provider's own rules. This means some information is handled outside Quebec.
Cookies and storage
This site sets no cookies. It uses no tracking pixels, fingerprinting, third-party analytics or advertising technology, so there is no cookie banner. Our fonts are served from our own server. If that ever changes, anything that can identify or profile you will be off by default and this page will be updated first.
Children
The site is not directed to children under 14 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your rights
You may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or file a complaint, by writing to contact@isitworthmoney.com. We answer within 30 days. You may also contact your privacy authority: in Quebec, the Commission d'accès à l'information; elsewhere in Canada, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada; in California, the California Privacy Protection Agency. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in California law.

We will post any change on this page and update the effective date.
